Finally some sunshine!
What miserable weather. The Thames and the birds had taken over the street in Twickenham.
Sunday was all about cleaning and getting the flat ready for ‘The Mum Inspection’. Her flight was only an hour or so delayed, which was good.
Well, not a real circus. Even if the bustle of Piccadilly Circus does make you feel like you’re caught in the middle of one. Had to go up there for an interview of sorts.
Waiting for them to ripen… gahh… patience is not one of my better virtues.
Chicken with almond and coconut sauce. Mmmm. Oh dear, the pictures are already turning a bit foodie…
Without realising I bought such posh desserts that they came in glass ramekins. Blueberry cheesecake. I have to say it was absolutely delicious!
I’m finally getting to the last boxes. Look what I found in this one… 🙁 It figures that (almost) the only victim of the move happens to be the most expensive piece of china I own. Sigh.
Saw this building on my way to a recruitment agency. I thought it was kind of… endearing. Who ever put the warning sign up paid no attention to clashing colours though. Tsk tsk.
A lovely lazy Sunday. Walked around Richmond, had lunch in Wagamama’s and went to see The Golden Compass.
