Oh my god I had so much trouble getting out of bed today. Consequently, I was half an hour late from work. Never mind, I was still the first in. Story of my life. I always manage to be too early, just in time, or the first everywhere, even when I’m trying my hardest to be fashionably late. It’s especially not a nice trait to possess when it’s raining.

My plan is to get this magazine off today, finish all the preliminary work for the next issue, have my haircut at 2pm and then just sneak off… I know it’s a bit daring. Well I might be gracious enough to take a half a days holiday if the Editor looks too badly on my plans. I did however work on Easter sunday so I’m hoping she’ll cut me some slack. It seems like all the stress of the last couple of weeks has really paid off as this week has gone so smoothly and now that the end is near I’m starting to feel really relieved and happy. And also, I’ll be going home on a friday so neither of us has to go straight to bed, we can make a proper evening of it. Yay.

Got ambushed by E while checking DA. She didn’t notice though, too busy talking. Apparently I have to write down new stuff for my job description as she wants to push me to a higher bracket. Coolness. I’m liking this day.

Rachel came in at 11am, and as I’d gotten all last minute corrections approved by E in the morning, we started to wrap things up.

Got a strange phonecall from bf’s nan. She wanted to bring an easter egg for me to take home. I thought she’d already given us one. Anyways, told her I wouldn’t be in the office on friday and that Nikki could bring it over in two weeks. She is nuts (but lovely).

Whee! All done. Off to get a (hopefully) wonderful haircut and I might even consider some light shopping afterwards, well it is pay day after all. Feeling… fantastic. And I get to go home tomorrow. 😀
