So I have my Friday pizza and my rum & coke next to me, but I’m sitting in front of the computer instead of a good film. But it’s ok, perhaps in the month (that the World Cup takes) I’ll have enough time to myself to finish all those things that I’ve been putting off. 😛 Like, getting my back-ups up to date, tidying the spare bedroom/studio/changing room in a way that I’ll know what’s actually in there and perhaps even sorting out all my clothes. I feel quite efficient just thinking about it. 😀

The weather forecast for this weekend looks promising. Maybe that long overdue proper summer will finally find us. Mind you, I’d be ok with temperatures between 20-25C, I don’t really like extreme heat that much. Unless I get to spend the whole day on a beach. And that rarely happens when you’re not on holiday… 😐

Work at the moment is very frustrating and rewarding at the same time. I’m working on a complete re-design for the magazine right now and as much fun as that is, dealing with everyone’s opinion is quite stressful. I have to try to sell my ideas to people and come up with compromises, while still trying to hold on to the fact that I’m the one with the expertise so I’m the one who should have the last word, even if it might mean not pleasing everyone (and hearing about it constantly). Oh well, at least it makes a change to the mundane boring days.

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve added (well Paul added :|) a radio to the side column of the page. 😀 I think I’m going to have just a few songs on there at a time, things that I’m into right at that moment… First I had it on auto play, but then I quickly remembered how much I myself hate websites that play music. 😛 So, if you do want to have a listen, you’ll have to click on the ZAP! button.
