In an attempt to make my online time even more efficient than before I decided to try and collect all the places I usually visit on one handy page. Admittedly, a bit easier said than done, but it sort of works… So far, I’ve been trying out Pageflakes to do it with. And this is what my browser home page looks like at the moment. I’m most pleased with the flickr feeds (atm I’ve got latest pics from contacts + comments received on there), but very annoyed that nothing on DA, apart from journals, has an RSS feed available… having messages as a webpage is a bit awkward, but at least you can sort of see what’s happening. Ideally I would have liked to have had a few more forums that I visit regularly on there as well, but alas, no feeds. Can’t really think of what else to put on there at the moment.
I started a project called 365 days on Flickr and the aim is for me to take one picture each day for it. I got (well, stole) the idea from Hanna who has done a beautiful job with her set. In theory it should help with keeping your style fresh while forcing you to think of new ideas and to actually pick up the camera on a daily basis. Here’s hoping I’ll be able to keep up with it.
