As you can see the name of this blog has changed. Or rather, it now has a name. I always thought that ‘mnoo blog’ was a bit boring and hardly inspiring, even if to begin with it somehow seemed the logical choice. Over the years I got used to it, even blind to it. But tonight I was looking at my tag line and thought, yes, that should be the name of this blog. I’ve always loved the quote from a song that John Lennon wrote to Sean when he was born. It’s so profoundly true and I feel like it’s important to see those words every day in order to remind yourself that this is really it. This is the ride you’re on.

It’s 3am and I’m still planning to watch Ugly Betty. I’m starting to panic about the prospect of once again having a 9 to 5 office job. For the last 5 years I’ve more or less set my own schedule for most of the month and the hours after midnight always seem like the most productive ones for me. Well, after next week late nights are pretty much history… I hope I’ll get back to the so called ‘normal rhythm’ soon enough and that it won’t be too painful.

Still, there are positive sides to an office job, the social aspect being quite high up there. Working from home has the tendency to alienate you from the rest of the world, so I am really looking forward to some office gossip etc. And getting dressed (properly) every day! 😀

Can’t start soon enough from a financial point of view. Seeing that in the last week I’ve already spent more than a month’s wages on a new camera and computer… Umm. But these upgrades were necessary, and both of these things should last me for quite some time…
