So, Christmas is done and dusted. I feel a bit empty after all that waiting and preparation… and now it’s all over and done with for another year again. Mind, physically I feel anything but empty however. π I think I’ll be hiding the scales for some time to come….
It turns out I’ve been ever so good this year as I got some rather nice pressies. π I especially love the books I got, like LaChapelle Hotel and Unseen Vogue: The Secret History of Fashion Photography. Oh and the rather cool Topolino: Make-up Games. That is so inspiring if you’re into makeup. I did however also receive the less exciting, but traditional, gift of thermal underwear again. At least they were purple this year. π Shexay eh. π So, how did you do? What’s your favourite and least favourite pressie? =P
I suppose the next big thing is New Year’s Eve then. We’re going to go watch the big fireworks display in town from Eve’s balcony, which is huge (the balcony and hopefully the display as well). Beats freezing your ass off knee-deep in snow I guess. And we’re going to do ‘fortune tin’ and everything. It’s where you melt tin shaped as horseshoe on a hotplate and throw it into a bucket of cold water. Then you look at what kind of shapes it forms and ‘read’ your future from that.
I’m hoping for big things for next year. Just because it’s such a cool number to start with. Oh, did I tell you I have this thing about digital clocks and symmetrical numbers. π I’ve been even known to stay on a bus past my own stop just because I needed to see the bus’s clock hit 22:55 or something as exciting as that (although that’s pretty much as exciting it gets). Umm. So anyways, 2005 is the only digitally completely symmetrical year in our lifetime. How about that. In any case, I don’t think I’ll reach 2115 personally… also, 25 and 5 are my lucky numbers. π So it must be a special year don’t you see!
In other news, trying to get back to normal life. Have a shoot on wednesday. Here’s hoping I get what’s in my head out of it.
