Yesterday was possibly the last day ever that I have to drag my ass over to the tax office in Myyrmäki in person, with my mountain of papers and receipts to sort out. However, next year I’ll still have to pay my extra tax for 07 and somehow get all my paperwork over to Finland without hiring a moving van. 😐 Erm. But it will be worth it as that’ll be it for ever! Never again. Makes me giddy just thinking about it. 😀

Today has been very painful (in a female sort of way) and I’ve been trying to think of ways to distract myself from sinking into grumpy-mode. As you can see, the blog now has a new pinkified look (and if you can’t see, do refresh), and I at least think it’s looking a bit more perky now. The whole layout and colours are still a work in progress however, so the look may change quite a few times in the future. Or not. 😛 You’ll just have to live in suspense from now on I guess.

I also dressed the dining table in a more summery sort of manner. Summer is really the only time of year that I indulge my more romantic, shabby chic kind of side (and get away with it). I think if I were ever to have a daughter I would have to go seriously overboard with all sorts of girly things in a pink & white colour scheme. Mmmm-mm.
